Terms of work

Last updated 7 November 2026

These terms apply when you buy anything from Open Sign Web, the trading name of Oluwatunmise Sesan-Awe, 46 Dragon Road, Hatfield AL10 9LX (“I”, “me”). Before any work starts I send you a written quote. When you accept it, these terms and the quote form our agreement.

Previews

A preview is free and you’re under no obligation to buy. I delete an unused preview 30 days after my last message to you, or straight away if you ask.

Prices and payment

Your content

You confirm that the photos, logos and text you give me are yours to use, and that the facts about your business are accurate. I won’t publish reviews, awards or claims you haven’t confirmed.

Ownership

Once you’ve paid in full, the website, its content and your domain belong to you. I may show the finished site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to. If you leave the care plan, I give you everything you need to move the site elsewhere.

Changes after launch

Each website includes one round of changes within 14 days of launch. After that, small edits are covered by the care plan. Larger changes are quoted separately.

Hosting and availability

Sites on the care plan are hosted on Cloudflare. I take reasonable care to keep them online and secure, but I can’t guarantee uninterrupted service from third-party providers.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you’ve paid me in the 12 months before the claim, and I’m not liable for loss of profit or business.

Data protection

If I process personal data on your behalf (for example, messages sent through your website’s contact form), we’ll sign a short data processing agreement. See the privacy policy for how I handle data.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
