How it works
No calls, no visits, no obligation. Everything happens by email, post or WhatsApp, so you can look when it suits you and you always have it in writing.
I find you
I look for local businesses whose website is missing, unfinished or out of date on Google.
I build a preview
From what’s already on your Google listing: your photos, opening hours and services. Only you see the preview. When you say yes, it goes live and Google can find it.
You take a look
I send you the link by email, or by letter with a QR code. Look on your phone, show your staff, take your time.
You decide
If you like it, I make it yours, with your own photos, wording and domain, live within two working days of payment. If not, I delete it.
What a preview looks like
These three businesses are made up, so you can see the range. Your preview is built around your own business: your name, your colours, your photos. It won’t look like these.

From “coming soon” to open
Drag the handle. On the left, the kind of page many local businesses are stuck with. On the right, the kind of site I build instead. Both are made-up examples.
What you get, and how it helps day to day
Each of these fixes a specific everyday problem. Take one, some, or all of them.
Website
£500 one-off- What it is
- A site of up to five pages on your own web address: what you do, prices or menu, opening hours, where to find you, and a way to get in touch.
- Why it matters
- When someone finds you on Google, your listing tells them where you are. Your website is what makes them choose you over the next result: it answers their questions before they’ve asked.
- Day to day
- Fewer “are you open?” and “how much is…?” messages, because the answers are already there. You send new photos or price changes by email and they go up.
Google profile fix
£150 one-off, or £100 with a website- What it is
- Your Google Business Profile is the panel that appears when people search your name or look on Google Maps. I check and tidy every part of it: hours (including bank holidays), categories, services, photos, booking link and website link.
- Why it matters
- It’s often the first thing a customer sees, before your website. Wrong hours or a missing category mean people go elsewhere or turn up when you’re closed.
- Day to day
- The right people find you for the right searches, the “Call” and “Directions” buttons work, and I show you how to reply to reviews in two minutes from your phone.
WhatsApp Business set-up
£100 one-off- What it is
- WhatsApp Business is Meta’s free app for businesses. I set up your business profile, a catalogue of your services and prices, quick replies, a greeting for new customers and an away message for when you’re busy.
- Why it matters
- Customers ask the same few questions all day: price, availability, location. Quick replies let you answer each one with two taps instead of typing it again.
- Day to day
- Type “/prices” and your price list is sent. Messages that arrive after hours get an automatic reply. Labels keep track of who’s booked and who’s waiting for a quote.
Care plan
£35 a month- What it is
- Hosting, security updates, spam protection, up to 30 minutes of edits a month, and a one-page monthly report on visits and enquiries. Cancel with 30 days’ notice.
- Why it matters
- Websites need looking after: forms attract spam, software needs updates, and the details go out of date. Small sites are targeted too, usually once they start getting visitors.
- Day to day
- Send me a change by email or WhatsApp and it’s done within two working days. Once a month you see, in plain numbers, whether the site is bringing people in.
Prices
Fixed prices, agreed in writing before any work starts. You pay for the website only when it’s ready to go live.

Every site I build
- Loads fast on a phone over mobile data, checked with Google’s own speed test before you see it.
- Works with a keyboard and a screen reader, with readable colours and text descriptions on images.
- Has a privacy policy and, only if it needs one, a cookie notice. No tracking unless you ask for it.
- Shows only real information about your business. No made-up reviews, awards or claims.
- Has spam protection on every form, so bots can’t flood your inbox.
- Is yours: you own your domain, your content and your photos.
Who you’re dealing with
Open Sign Web is me, Oluwatunmise (EKUN) Sesan-Awe, a web developer based in Hatfield. I build every site myself and I’m the one who answers your emails.
I don’t list client sites here. The best way to judge my work is the preview I build for your own business, which you can see before you spend a penny.
I work by email and WhatsApp rather than phone. You’re never caught mid-job by a sales call, and every price and promise is written down.
Questions
Why did I get a letter or email from you?
Your business came up on Google with no website, an unfinished one or one that’s hard to use on a phone, so I built you a preview of a better one. You’re under no obligation to reply.
Where did you get my details?
Only from public business sources: your Google Maps listing, your existing website and, for limited companies, Companies House. See the privacy policy for exactly what I keep and for how long.
How do I stop hearing from you?
Reply “stop” to any email, or email hello@opensignweb.co.uk. I’ll remove your details and delete your preview straight away. More on removal.
Do I have to pay for the preview?
No. The preview is free and you don’t owe anything for it. You only pay if you decide you want the site.
Are those my photos on the preview?
The preview uses photos from your Google listing so you can see how the site would look. Before anything goes live, I swap them for photos you send me or confirm are yours.
Who owns the website?
You do. Once it’s paid for, the domain, the content and the site are yours. If you ever leave the care plan, I hand everything over.
I already have someone who does my website.
Then keep them. If the preview gives them ideas, you’re welcome to show it to them.
Ask me anything
Email is the quickest way to reach me. I reply within one working day.
